テンプテーションズの名曲を1枚のCDに詰め込むという離れ業をやってのけたのが、この『The Ultimate Collection』。でも不可解な点が2つあり。なぜ90年代半ばの超マイナーヒット「Error of Our Ways」を収録して、全盛期のナンバーワン・ヒット「Beauty Is Only Skin Deep」と「I Could Never Love Another(After Loving You)」を外したのか。とはいえ、このお手ごろな価格を考えれば納得というものか。(Rickey Wright, Amazon.com)
